Our Detroit Gatsby events are always incredibly fun and glamorous! This year we wanted our gala to be an immersive experience as well. So not only will our guests enjoy dressing up for a fabulous night out, they will also be part of a theatrical production where they will interact with some of their favorite fairy tale characters as they play out some of the darker themes found in famous fairy tales.

It's a new, adult Detroit Gatsby experience! The Belle Isle Casino will be transformed into an enchanting hall filled with candelabra-bedecked tables, still-life vignettes, magically delectable passed hors d’oeuvres, strolling supper and an complimentary bar with signature liquor-laced potions, pop-up performances, and spell-inducing music.

VIP ticket holders will have access to our VIP area where they can enjoy the VIP bar and mingle with Detroit sports legends and celebrities!


Proceeds will go to Activate Detroit Potential, a non profit organization that partners with for profit companies to provide skills training, employment and holistic support services for at-risk women in Detroit.

This year's Date with the Devil will be a night to remember and a great opportunity to raise much needed funds for our school. As the Mothers' Club Parent Organization's only fundraising event this year, your participation will help support our core activities of enrichment, scholarship, and preservation of our historic building.
We've moved this year's event to the beautiful and historic Belle Isle Casino with convenient on-site parking. We'll also have a DJ and dancing, fantastic auction items, delicious food and drinks!

ATTIRE: A Date with the Devil is meant to be a fun, casual night out with your friends -- dress accordingly and wear your dancing shoes!
FOOD: Enjoy a fabulous meal from Lyla's Catering in Grosse Pointe Woods, and late night snacks from National Coney Island and the Hill Seafood and Chophouse. Plus, delicious desserts donated from local bakers!
