It came out on November 16, 2006. Casino Royale is debatably for most fans the best Bond film and I can honestly view this film as a movie of its own to be honest. Daniel Craig is the best bond since Sean Connery. Variety called this version of Casino Royale 'a film of astounding sloppiness' and 'an insult to the Bond name.' Critic Roger Ebert wrote that the 1981 film 'is a competent James Bond thriller. Although he didn’t receive any rewards for Casino Royale, he was nominated for both BAFTA’s Best Actor in a Leading Role and Saturn Awards’ Best Actor the year that movie was released. There have been some rumors that he’ll play James Bond in an upcoming movie called Bond 25, but that’s only speculation.
